Jolly St Nick is here in Playmobil form, but he's appeared to have shed a few pounds! An imposter maybe? A rubbery-nosed Snowman and other pals have also joined in the venture.

Its the 60th anniversary of Peanuts with Charlie Brown and buds on display in Christmas clobber. 

Hero Turtles Christmas Tree Ornaments
At one stage the Ninja Turtles received some censoring before hitting the UK shores. This article covers an amazing find of some Turtles merchandise from that era. Marvel the awesome foursome as they are dumbed down to look as cute and cuddly as possible for the holiday season.

Finally obtained this festively awesome item from think-geek.

The gaming ensemble includes: a 1-up Mushroom, LED coins, a Galaga like spaceship, a Tetris block, a Pac-Man cherry and a glob. 

Definitely more suitable as an interior decoration...

Cowabunga Christmas Promotion

I spent some time over August and September assembling a TMNT Christmas Promotion featuring a series of custom tree ornaments.

Cowabunga Christmas is the follow-up to Festive Fury which I produced in 2008, but a little more widespread.

These have been shipped out worldwide (especially the US) as early holiday greetings to friends, fans, and followers and have been greatly received. It is really rewarding to see my custom work displayed on Christmas trees around the globe. I hope to do something in 2013 to top this.

Christmas Tat Rundown # 3 - Hero Turtles Ornaments

A great e-bay acquisition if I ever came across one. Original 1990 edition UK Teenage Mutant ‘Hero’ Turtles Christmas ornaments!

These are painted and wooden and in my opinion have aged well. I never knew about these when they were out, so I’m glad that 21 years later I managed to own a set. The decorations individually feature one of the awesome foursome doing something a little festive. Here is the rundown… 

RAPHAEL

A mixture of switching to de-caf and the holiday spirit has mellowed Raphael out. The usually bad tempered turtle has taken to hanging up baubles rather than whackbags.  

LEONARDO

Ice-skating is Leo’s thing, only the glitter effect of the ice makes it look like someone has sabotaged the rink surface with salt. Surely the Foot Clan are behind this!

MICHAELANGELO

Like his renaissance namesake, Mikey has taken to sculpting. So far he’s managed to sculpt a snowman of pal Leonardo.

 

DONATELLO

Donnie hits the slopes with a set of non-jetpowered skis..
